Its an actual thing, used to be the signature menu item at the Colorado Mine Company restaurant in Denver, Elvis once spent $70,000 to fly his private jet there in the middle of the night when he suddenly decided he wanted one.
Its a toasted, hollowed out baguette filled with 1lb of bacon, 16oz of peanut butter, and 16oz of blueberry preserves. Apparently, there's several restaurants in the Denver area that still serve them. Always heard about it. Always thought it was either going to be delicious or disgusting, turned out to be somewhere in the middle.

It was oddly difficult to get the hot dogs I wanted. I tried three stores before giving up and grabbing what was available. I’d been craving them for weeks, now I’ll be eating them for days.

My “almost” vegan tacos. I say almost because I’d imagine there’s animal product of some sort in the cheapo can of refried beans that I used. But no meat nor cheese so almost. These consisted of refried pinto beans, avocado, onion, tomato, jalapeño, bell pepper, cilantro, black pepper, red pepper flake, Himalayan pink salt, paprika, and hot sauce on soft corn tortillas. Now since I'm not in any way vegan, that was paired with a protein shake made with whole milk and whey powder. This was to follow my "prison workout" which was just doing squats, lunges, push-ups, situps in Super sets. Body weight workouts always feel good and with the sun setting earlier, it's my only option for exercise most weeknights.
